Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2011 will be held in Amsterdam
We are happy to announce the venue for this year’s Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship: The ninth of its kind, the 2011 event will return to Europe, with Amsterdam’s Westergasfabriek venue playing host to duelists from all over the globe on the weekend of August 13-14th.
At this unique location, 26 of the world’s best TCG duelists will gather to pit their skills against each other in a knock-out competition spanning eight rounds. Similarly, the best 12 players of KONAMI’s Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s World Championship 2011: Over The Nexus will also convene for an equally hot competition.
Of the 26 Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME players taking part, four will be from Europe, and will be determined by their participation in the European Championship in Madrid on July 16th-17th. The winning four will then have their travel and accommodation paid for, as they head to Amsterdam to face opponents from America, Asia and Oceania.
Of course, this exciting two-day event is not only for these 26 players: It will also offer various Public Events and other activities open for all Yu-Gi-Oh!-fans – thus everyone is invited to come and visit and this way be part of this year’s World Championship!

Il Campionato del Mondo 2011 di Yu-Gi-Oh! si svolgerà ad Amsterdam
Siamo lieti di annunciarvi la sede del Campionato del Mondo di Yu-Gi-Oh! di quest’anno: il nono evento di questo tipo, nel 2011 farà ritorno in Europa, con il Westergasfabriek di Amsterdam che ospiterà duellanti da tutto il mondo nel week-end del 13-14 Agosto.
In questa fantastica cornice, 26 dei migliori duellanti del Gioco di Carte Collezionabili si incontreranno per confrontare le proprie capacità di gioco in un torneo senza esclusione di colpi di otto turni. Allo stesso modo, i migliori 12 giocatori del videogioco Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s World Championship 2011: Over The Nexus della KONAMI si affronteranno in una sfida esaltante.
Dei 26 giocatori del Gioco di Carte Collezionabili di Yu-Gi-Oh!, quattro saranno provenienti dall’Europa e verranno determinati durante il Campionato Europeo di Madrid il 16-17 Luglio.
I primi quattro qualificati otterranno viaggio ed alloggio pagato per Amsterdam dove dovranno scontrarsi con avversari provenienti da America, Asia ed Oceania.
Ovviamente, questo fantastico evento di due giorni non è riservato esclusivamente a questi 26 giocatori: saranno disponibili numerosi eventi aperti al pubblico ed altre attività per tutti gli appassionati di Yu-Gi-Oh! – siete quindi tutti invitati a partecipare anche voi al Campionato Mondiale di quest’anno!
